Eileen Schofield – Principal Solicitor
All businesses with one employee or more need some employment help. This could be as straightforward as drafting an employment contract or employee handbook or something as complex as dealing with an unfair dismissal claim made by a disgruntled employee.
It is important that you get the right support at the right time for the right price. If things aren’t correctly put in place at the start, then it can cost considerably more to correct them later. Ignored employee issues require far more attention and time to fix than if they had been properly handled when they first arose. A lack of diversity training and understanding from business owners, directors and managers can create a whole wealth of issues which could have been easily avoided.
I am passionate about helping companies to grow. I founded Schofield and Associates in 2009 to support small and medium sized companies. This was based on a strong desire to see companies in the Midlands grow and create the wealth and employment opportunities that the region needs. My clients tell me that I make them feel understood and inspire a high level of confidence so they know they can trust me with their sensitive employment issues.
I developed S.O.S. HR on-line with Angela to help business owners and MDs to quickly and easily solve their HR issues before they get any bigger.

When businesses are hit with unexpected HR problems and employment issues, it is not uncommon for things to start to unravel. One person leaving can start an exodus. One issue coming to light can lead to others unexpectedly popping up. One disgruntled employee can create havoc within your company.
My passion is helping business owners and MDs to effectively manage their staff, retain good employees, help or exit those under-performing and rapidly deal with any HR issues and employment law updates.

Sarah Coyne – Office Manager
Hi, I am the Office Manager at Schofield and Associates and I direct S.O.S. HR enquiries. My job is to ensure that you get the best service possible and that the office runs smoothly. There is always plenty going on in the office so I am kept busy throughout the day, which I love.
My passion is to ensure clients have a great experience and the office is an efficient and happy one. A great working environment makes it easier for people to get on with their job and create the results you want. If creating that working environment includes making the tea and supplying cakes every now and then, I’m happy to do so.
When you call, I will usually be the first person you speak to, so please feel free to say “hi”.
